Beyond the Classroom

I’m Kanishk Dasgupta, an IB Diploma student in Mumbai with a keen interest in artificial intelligence, quantum computing and engineering.

I enjoy exploring complex scientific ideas and finding ways to apply them to real-world challenges. From developing an AI-powered wearable to contributing to quantum computing research, curiosity has always been the driving force behind my work.

Beyond academics, music, writing, teaching and student leadership are equally important parts of my journey.

Inspired by my grandmother’s experience with Alzheimer’s disease, I developed an AI-powered wearable that recognises familiar faces and everyday objects, providing spoken reminders to support people experiencing memory loss.
